What are your requirements for templates?

  • Templates should be constructed out of a suitable material, ideally 6mm MDF that will not break during use or transit.
  • The face of the template should be indicated on each.A separate template must be used for each item.
  • Templates must be exact to size with no addition or subtraction requirements.
  • All holes and cut outs must be marked clearly in the exact position required on the template.

I need to send an electronic file. Which file types do you accept?

We accept file types in the following format

  • .dxf
  • .jpeg
  • .gif
  • .pdf
  • .cdr/.cdx/.cpt – CorelDraw Graphics Suite
  • .doc/.docx

Colour Coated Glass

Do you provide a measure and fit service?

Yes, we provide a measure and installaion service. Please contact us for information.

Can I obtain samples of coloured coated glass?

Yes we are happy to send out samples to our clients. Please see our colour swatch to view our range of standard colours.

Intaglio Colour Swatches.pdf

Samples of our standard colours are supplied at a small charge of £5 per sample. Please contact us with the colour you require and we would be happy to assist.

What colours can I choose from?

At Intaglio we have a wide selection of Solid, Metallic and Pearl colours. See our Colour Palette for a small sample of our colours. If you are unsure of the colour you would like we will be happy to assist you.

Can I have cut-outs or holes in the panels?

Yes, the colour coated glass has many applications and it can be fullly processed to include socket cut outs, holes for shower valves etc.

Is my colour coated glass covered by warranty?

Yes, all colour coated glass provided by Intaglio is guaranteed for 10 years against paint discolouration and delamination. We also provide a 90 day guarantee on installation provided by Intaglio.

Is the colour coated glass heat resistant?

Yes, the glass and colour coating are heat resistant and will not crack. All our glass is toughened for heat and impact resistance. Toughened glass is five times stronger than untoughened glass.

How long will it take to manufacture?

Our lead time is normally 2-3 weeks from receipt of templates or confirmed sizes.

Glass Care

How do I clean my colour coated glass?

Cleaning your colour coated glass is simple. Spray the glass using a non abrasive glass cleaner using a soft cloth. If the glass has oil from cooking clean with a small amount of washing up liquid first and then clean with glass cleaner.
