Intaglio Glass and Design is based in East Kilbride near Glasgow and introduced back painted kitchen splashbacks to the Scottish market in 2000. As well as being the original splashback company, Intaglio can offer unrivalled accuracy, on time delivery and experience when helping you create your desired look with your kitchen, bathroom or glass wall splashback.
We offer bespoke back painted glass splashbacks & back splashes in an extensive range of colours which will fit beautifully into your bathroom or kitchen. Using state of the art glass CNC machining technologies we can produce a splashback which fits around the contours and sockets in your kitchen, or seamlessly around the shape of your bathroom.
All our glass splashbacks are toughened*, and with over 80 standard colours in our range (and a bespoke colour matching service) including sparkles, metalic & pearlescent finishes, we’re confident you will find the splashback to suit your taste.

As well as being in vogue, glass splashbacks are elegant, easy to clean and maintain and extremely durable. Every splashback can be manufactured to your exact size and specification using the latest CNC technology, including cut outs for sockets and shelves and our toughening process strengthens the glass by up to 5 times, whilst offering complete safety. Should you choose to install your glass splashback yourself – we can offer you advice – or you can choose our one stop shop “measure and fit” service.

I am delighted with the antique mirror splash back that Intaglio made up for my kitchen hob, it looks wonderful. From the start, dealing with Kelly & Gillian in the office was a pleasure, they were all so helpful & knowledgeable. Graeme and Ian were very particular when coming out to measure the area for the template which was quite intricate and the result is just perfect, their attention to detail was spot on. I'm so happy with the project that I asked them to measure and install mirrors for the gym and are now working on illuminated glass shelving for the bathrooms - I'm confident that I'll be just as impressed once completed.
