Boels Rental (one of Europe's largest tool and equipment hire companies) took on an empty warehouse in Glasgow and needed it turned into a working depot for their survey and laser division.
Because the site holds high-value equipment, security had to be built in from the start, alongside the practical space to store, service and work from. We installed a steel mezzanine to create storage above, then built out the space beneath it into offices and a workshop, along with a new amenity area and toilets for the team.
Security ran through the whole fit-out. We fitted a roller shutter to lock the unit down and protect the equipment inside, and sliding shutters to the windows that keep the building secure while still providing a clear means of escape all in line with fire regulations.
The result is a secure, fully operational depot: storage, offices, workshop and welfare under one roof, finished to the standard a national brand expects.
