We are a new Firm of Solicitors with all the knowledge and expertise you would expect from a longer established firm. Our Partners, Lucy Weaver and Andrea Waddell, are both well-known and respected solicitors with 40 years’ experience gained between them in property law, conveyancing and private client matters.
We have come together having recognised the need for a different approach to the way clients require their business to be conducted in ever changing times. We will guide you through your legal matter with a no nonsense, tailored approach whilst maintaining a high professional standard.
We pride ourselves on giving a bespoke service to our clients, which results in many repeat instructions from clients who return to us at different stages in their lives.
Lucy Weaver
Lucy was brought up in the southside of Glasgow and educated at Hutcheson Grammar School, Glasgow Caledonian University and Strathclyde University. She has been in Private Practice for over 20 years’ and has also been involved in legal education holding the post of Tutor on both the Conveyancing and Property Law and Private Client courses at the University of Glasgow and currently holds the Post of Tutor in Private Client at Strathclyde University.
Lucy’s experience is in property law, conveyancing, executries (probate), powers of attorney, guardianships and family law. She is also Solas Qualified.
Lucy also enjoys working on novel title and boundary matters and has written an article for the Law Society of Scotland Journal on title rectification.
Andrea Waddell
Andrea has over 15 years’ experience in a high street law firm setting, giving her a wealth of knowledge in property law and private client matters. She deals mainly with the purchase and sale of residential properties, the winding up of executry estates (probate) and with wills and powers of attorney.
Andrea holds Financial Guardian appointments at the request of Local Authorities and advises families on guardianship orders and Adults with Incapacity matters. She also advises on divorce and contact matters.
Andrea’s friendly and efficient approach to her work is most appreciated by her clients.
