Who and what we fund.

Who

We welcome applications by, or on behalf of, individuals with a learning disability in the South Lanarkshire Council area.

We regret that the following examples on their own do not meet the criteria of the Trust: ADHD, dyslexia, DCD (dyspraxia), or other neurodivergent conditions. However, if these occur alongside a learning disability, then you will meet this criterion. If we receive more applications than we can fund, we will prioritise applications from people on a low income.

If you receive a means-tested benefit (Universal Credit, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Income Support, Housing Benefit, Pension Credit), you may be asked to provide evidence of this.

Applications with missing information or without supporting evidence are less likely to be considered by the Trustees, so we encourage you to provide as much information as you can. The funding is limited, and priority will be given to people who have not previously received a grant from the Trust, and those who missed out in the previous round of funding.
